Willkommen in Deutschland!!!!! (Welcome to Germany!)

Air Berlin is a very nice airline.....

The plane ride to Germany was bout 2 hours and even though I am not a seasoned air traveler I can fully say that  the ride was the smoothest and most graceful plane ride that I have ever been on. The flight attendants spoke both English, Spanish and of course their native language German. During the flight they provided us with a "complimentary" sandwich and beverage. Even the in flight "amenities" were very nice....the safety video was fully animated, and the TVs in the cabin were flat screens. They kept us aware of our location, speed, altitude, current time, and temperature all the way through the flight. There was one point when the temperature was -89 degrees Fahrenheit!!

Our hotel is very nice as well, unfortunately you have to pay for the internet here, so all of my blog posts will have to be done very quickly! Please excuse any typos and grammar errors!

Had my first sausage dinner here in Germany tonight...I had a Bockwurst (Bratwurst) and fries. The brat was delicious, far better than any Hillshire farm or American brand of bratwursts. I will post pictures of the hotel and everything else tomorrow.

Gute Nacht!!
