Estudios

The field studies class was today from 2:30pm until about 6:15pm, I will definitely like this course. We walked around a few blocks very close by our dorm...it is amazing the hidden treasures this city has offer! Even apart from the major landmarks, small nooks and alleys hide great views and history within the city.

I am very exhausted...not from the class but because my sinuses are going hay-wire right now! I REAAAAAAAAAALLLLY hope I am not sick...a cold/bug would be awful to catch over here. Hopefully it is just one of my minor sinus irritations...I don't seem to have any other symptoms..drank some hot green tea (made me feel a little better). I will probably go to bed a little earlier tonight! Besides I have class tomorrow at 9:30am.

Old church where Spanish, Catalan, and English mass is held on Sundays...about a 10 minute walk from the dorm....I should have no excuse not attend service while I am over here haha.

Another very old church plaza....very ornate entry...
These two buildings are very VERY VERY important...the one on the right is where the bishop of Barcelona stays and the building to the left is where the POPE...yes I said POPE stays when he visits Barcelona!

Meal for tonight...PAELLA (cannot take full credit for this...it came pre-packaged from the freezer aisle, all I had to do was heat it up correctly...which did require reading some Spanish) however the corn I did season and heat!!

  2. Well, it's obvious that the paella was pre-packaged... a few ingredients are missing. Where are the land snails? Lol. But, good job on the corn!
