Rain, Snow, Phone, Rome!

Today was fairly miserable compared all of my previous days here in Barcelona....probably the most uneventful so far....

The high was about 45 degrees outside and it rained allllllllllllllllllllll day long. I would rather have snow than really cold weather (but not cold enough to snow) and rain, it just makes for a bad combination! Everything here shutdowns in conditions like this too, nothing is open, the streets are barren and it creates an eerie and somber environment. Got my phone fixed finally!!!! If anyone receives a call from a strange number (698-227-461) then it is probably me. Oh and there probably will be some strange country code in front of it.

Looks like I might get my wish though...the high in Rome for the weekend is about 45...and it is supposed to SNOW on Friday and Saturday! I am pretty excited about this, my encounters with snow are limited as it is, but snow in Rome...talk about an experience. I will be warm though, I have long johns and plenty of layers to wear for this weekend. My flight leaves out of Barcelona at 7:30pm tomorrow...(1:30pm for everyone on the eastern seaboard). Can't believe I am actually doing this...it is extremely surreal to say "I'm going to Rome"; I also wonder how many times I will say "when in Rome..." (there is 1) haha.

Did my laundry successfully today, also worked on my studio project...Mallory and I have a large benchmark presentation tomorrow in class, hope it goes well.

Cooked some spaghetti tonight for dinner...figured I would get myself in the mood for the cuisine of the weekend! It was pretty good...relatively plain for what I am used to in my spaghetti...nothing like my Dad's.

Buenos Noches! Roma!
